what wheels do i have

im a new member and need to figure out what wheels are on my newly purchased 77 kz1000a.there 7 spoke mags but the rear is 18 inch so idont believe they came from an ltd.i want to change bearings and was told by z1 classics of rochester ny that there were 3 different companys that made them.cant find any name on either wheel.i did find a mark that looks like a capital M with a capital I centered directly on top of it.any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks

In '76 the KZ900 LTD came with Morris mags, right? If so, the rear was 18", I believe.

12 Aug 2011 17:53The Kawasaki Enkei alloy wheels are a dead ringer copy of the Morris wheels in the link. I wonder what arrangements Kawasaki made with Morris to avoid patent infringement.

For the KZ900 Ltd, agree with the Morris Mags, but the rear is 16 inch, front is 18 inch.

Thanks for the correction. So Lester's were the only option for a mag wheel compatible with a drum brake?

Lesters, Henry Abes, and Melbers.
These three are the only ones I have actually owned that I can definetly say were available for the rear drum brake. Most others converted to rear disc brake.
