Otto, how sticky are they? My rear has always been slippery, even before I built the motor, I need something that is going to stand a better chance I don't really care if I have to change tires every year from wear I don't want it coming loose when I downshift and rail it.

I have not ever had a problem even with a tire that was multiple years old. I have a habit of taking clover leafs at much higher speeds than is posted.

Do you have any experience with the Avon venom's? It looks like it would be pretty sticky once warm.

Yes, the venom is a step up from the "road rider" The two tires can be mixed and matched. I have used both.
