Where to get a frame brace kit ? was created by benhurmx
Hi everybody,

I reach the point where i am removing the motor for upgrades. Since the motor will be out, i thought i should reinforce the frame with a brace kit. I called Kosman specialties and the guy told me that he has improved the kit and will make another run that should be ready in a month ???? And the other very expensive option is the Japanese kit (PMC). Is there any other kit ?

that kits been coming out next month for a year now! :laugh:
its pretty easy to make your own kit B)
Still recovering,some days are better than others.

z1enterprises has a kit for the 900/1000 for $165ish

Called them. They only order the Japanese kit (PMC) which is almost 300 US.

i seem to remember somebody offering to have a bunch of kits made for like $150 for the sheetmetal/tubing kits if enough people showed an interest but nobody ever shows up for the party! :laugh:

need atleast 5 sets to cover machine shop costs,find me 3 more and ill drop the patterns off to have them made. B)
same with motor mounts,5 sets seems to be magic number to break even on costs B)
