I am looking at switching from the clip ons that I currently have on my bike to a Superbike or Drag type setup. I was wondering if anyone is running the Superbike or Drag bar from Z1E? I am also looking at the Ultra Low bar from Renthal. Any experiences that you have with any of these would be most appreciated.

I had the superbike bars last season they are nice. Put me in a good position. I'm switching to drag bars this season to go better with my build and as soon as I can ride the damn thing I'll know if I'm gonna go back to the others.

i have black superbike bars from z1e on my z1r.i find them to be a good bend that does not fatigue my wrists as fast as drag bars do.
they look good to.

I have the chrome superbike bars from Z1E on one bike and some dirtbike bars with a very similar bend on another. I'm quite pleased with the riding position.

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking to go for more of a classic superbike look from the wannabe drag bike look that it has now. Not that there's anything wrong with that it just doesn't fit my riding style and I'd like to engineer a bit more comfort into it so when I do a long ride it's more enjoyable.

what rear wheel do you have on it? is it on the stock swingarm?

i custom built the swingarm out of 4130 chro-moly to house a 98-02 yamaha r1 rear wheel and also used the brake system off the r1.i am currently putting the front end conversion together.
so then the wheels will match :laugh: .
