I Give up I Give up I Give up, no more torture. :P It is almost a direct swap. Make sure that you use the end bearing caps on the pivot axle first of all, you will have to install spacers between the cap and the frame. The arm is a bit narrower than the Kawasaki frame. If you do not have the Suzuki axle you will have to get one or one for a KZ1300, which is what I am using. If you use stock length Suzuki shocks the back end will sit a bit lower than stock. If you use the Leadwing shocks the back will sit almost stock height. You will have to use the Suzuki chain guard or build mounts for the guard you want to use. My chain guard came from a ZR1100 and I built the mounts for it. You will have to install spacers between the wheel and the arm because the arm is so much wider, hence the KZ1300 bolt. Some exhaust pipes may also interfere with the arm, but most will not. Make sure you tighten the pivot bolt enough to prevent any side to side play inside the frame. By the way, no one has an attitude that big ;) :woohoo:  .

you're too funny man i like u

the swing arm didnt come with end caps, it looks like the needle bearing inside need a spacer as well between the bearings and the pivot bolt, the rest should be easy, I'm using wheels off a 1980 KZ 750,got necessary axles, brake hardware and such. also gonna change fork to a KZ 750 as well, for the dual fronts) so I guess I'll need to locate or have fabbed the necessary items, ( my boy shawn at the machine shop is awesome, and cheap too) if you got any leads i would appreciate it

thanx man

ps. my attitude isnt really that big, thats a saying off a sticker i put on my welding helmet.

The end caps for the pivot are still available from Suzuki. You can get them threw Z1E or Bike Bandit. That's where I got mine. The inner race for the needle bearings is a standard size and is available from anyplace that has a decent selection of bearings in stock. I made spacers out of stainless steel washers for both pivot and axle.

First of all, the inner races for the bearings are NOT just spacers. They are races. They are made of a super hard steel for the rollers to roll on. They are of an "exact" size and are super hard. You MUST buy those from a bearing dealer. I would just replace the whole needle bearing. They will most likely cost you about $15 each. The shocks I used are made by "Progressive Suspensions" #12-1205B shocks. They are 1" longer than stock. and you match them with springs to suite your weight and riding stile. The dampers and springs come separately and you combine them to make custom "shocks' for yourself. When you get hem from "Progressive" they come with all the right mounting hardware to match the right pin sizes on your bike to the swing arm. I would use 03-1367 springs if you weigh under 180# and 03-1368 springs if you weigh over 180#. They come in either black or chrome. The 12 series shocks come only in black. I love the way these shocks perform. Call Jeff at Z1E and he can get them for you. He would be about the cheapest.
