Cool, thanks for the pics. I'm not usually a header fan, but I really like the way that one slams to the right. Love the fly shield also. Keep us posted as you go.

You want to cry, this doesn't begin to show how bad my KZ was when I found it. My dad's comment when I rolled it off the truck was "What the hell are you going to do with that?" Mine was "Ride it"
Why would you want to cry anyway? If he doesn't like it, hopefully it'll go to someone that will. Not all bikes are for everyone.

You can make a world of difference with the seat only. Those 2-up seats don't give you room to sit back at all. It's not really the bottom of the seat but the back part of it dictating your riding position from the handlebars. Since you really like the bike, you might want to just try a flat seat. I had a 2-up seat on my FL and I felt squished only at 5'9".

Sorry Pauls,
It's just when he got to the part about selling it. It was kind of like Old Yeller died again.
I have a 550 LTD with a 2 up seat and I use straight cafe bars. those allow me to lean forward and keep my back straight. I feel more balanced on the bike with those bars. Those bars will give you more room.
Cruiser bars are always to close for me no matter how big the bike is. I also feel like I don't have as much leverage with my hands turned sideways.
Oh and for the record, I was just kidding with the crying comment. I really don't care if he doesn't like the bike as long as it finds a good home. Some people are more comfortable on Cruisers. It's all good.
