Started turbo project finally was created by Headly
Gday guys, thought id send a couple of pics of my 900 turbo streeter project seeing as its been a while and ive starting getting my slack ass into gear.Started cutting and replacing unwanted mounts and fitting new swingarm which is a 90"s model GSXR 1100 with twin shock mounts welded on.(This is the one i had on my gs1100 before i sold it and got the arm back off my mate that bought the bike). Its 4.5 inches longer than standard and only needs washers each side as it was narrower than the z arm.I had too cut and flap disc the rear brake lever mount down a bit to get clearance at the pivot point but this wont have any effect as it was minimal.Rear axle is the same as z aswell so just need to make some spacers to centre the wheel. :)

Yeah mate, got stock front end, rear end is a chromed z hub laced to a 16inch chrome rim(same front and rear as my avatar).I used to have clip ons on the front so i could bring the forks through a fair bit to lower it but it was too hard on the body during trips so i put flat bars on only problem is i cant lower it as much as i would like too now.Ive heard about lowering blocks that go inside your fork tubes but dont know how these work, any ideas?
Schnitz have them ive been told but i cant find them in their catalogue, dont really want to cut the springs either.
Oh yeah rear tire is a 130 for now until it "wears out" then i will put a 150 on.
