so you can barely pull it and it doesnt want to brake, and then it locks against the rotors and you can't get it to loosen?

No, sorry. It feels a little loose to start out and brakes normally. As I ride and use it more it starts to build pressure and becomes hard to pull. And locks against the rotors and sticks. Right now it's loose again.

I'm not familiar with the working innards of a MC, but have an idea.
Pressure is building in your brake system, but it's not subsiding normally. It keeps building, then locks up the brake.
There is a small hole/valve in the MC that's supposed to allow the fluid back through, thus decreasing pressure, and I bet yours is clogged.

Okay. I thought I got everything sorted with it but I'll take it apart and start over again. Thanks.

on the mc's I have seen there are 2 little pinholes that you can poke out with a toothpick

it's the kind that has a remote reservoir. Do you know where I might find those holes? Sorry I would post a pic but my camera's not working. It'll probably be pretty obvious when I tear it all apart again. Sorry for being such a high-maintenance poster.

I have only really taken apart the old style mc's, but I would assume the holes would be under the fitting that the hose slips on, can you remove that fitting?

Once I take it apart again I'll check it out. Unfortunately I have to go to work now so maybe in a couple of days. Thanks for all the help. That sounds like a logical solution.

hopefully it works out for you, I have found the best advice I ever got regarding brakes is that just taking them completely apart and cleaning them thoroughly with clean brake fluid usually magically fixes many issues.

Okay... Disassembled the MC again and cleaned it just the same. There's only one hole that lets the fluid flow to and from the remote reservoir. The entire thing is pristine now. Haven't hooked it back up yet. I have one question before I do. The new MC didn't come with a banjo bolt. I'm using the same stock banjo bolt that my original kz550 MC came with. This may seem like a stupid question but could that be my problem? It fits but some of the Nissin models I looked at online have different shaped banjo bolts. I've looked endlessly for some kind of back catalog or listing of their different models to find the matching bolt to no avail. I would hate to bleed that line again and have the same problem. Am I not allowed to curse on this board? I sure would like to right now.
