I think they look good. I have a friend that has them on a "z". Roy

Roy I could be wrong but the Blue Turbo Z1R does not have Lesters on it. I thought the Lesters have dual ribs instead of the single rib design of the Turbo
Nice turbo pics by the way

The first 900 LTD's came with Morris Mags, a friend had one. I had a Morris Mag on my Amen frame chopper at the time. In '77 when I got my 1000 LTD which I still have
the wheels were made in Japan. They looked the same as the Morris but were a dark gray rather then the more black color of the Morris. If I remember correctly the 900 LTD's were made here in the USA or atleast assembled here.

Re: Lesters, why special?
29 Jan 2010 16:55I'm gonna strip my lesters and do the duplicolor light coating sytems in gold and drilled dual disks
Did that with my stock C2 wheels. Looked good but it was a pain keeping the back wheel clean.
They will be going on my project C2, as a stock colored 18" Z1R front wheel is going on this Winter with a matching black rear.

the rear lester i have on my 74 is 3.25 wide so its quite a bit wider than the stock rim i like the look on that bike but in fact spoke wheels really do it for me i also have a couple of sun rims that really look good on my little drag bike.
