Hey all you Wild and KZ Guys.

To address some concerns;
The Wheel components were cut on a lathe then bolted to a fixture for welding. Believe it on not, the wheel now runs truer then the 2 stock ones did. Yha,... No $hit !

The suspension loop has 1" clearance at the center & 1/2" at the sides. I know from experience that the tire will gain 1/4" height at high speed, as it loses 1/8" in with. Also there is No movement at the turnbuckle or loop joints so no bushings were required.

We have tried a variety of different shocks, nun to our likening yet. We're still open to suggestions ! BTW, Were also looking for a ZX front-end. everything from the neck up.

I have posted the latest picks in my garage site. If your interested in the shocks shown in the last 3 pic's' I'll be selling them for $250. They fit KZ .

Hey All;
Just posted more picks of "Project KZX 13"

We've completed the modifications necessary to mount the ZX inverted forks & wheel. Also, I almost have the Gunfighter style seat ready to be stitched !

SOoooo. . . What do you think of our efforts so far ?

Them forks were quite a challenge, we had to gain 8" on the ZX forks to the required length that the original KZ had. We were able to use the stock KZ tubes (same O.D.) and machined them to mate with the new ZX components.

Some of you may remember this project I was working on with a buddy called KZx13… well he hasn’t mad any progress on it since he got into boating = / Anywho; he’s kicking around the idea of selling it and not being very “computer friendly” has asked me to put it out there on the InterWeb for him, so I’m giving the KXR list first crack at it.

Here’s a link to progress pix:

This beast NEEDS to be finished! Own this bike and be like a Super Hero! = ]

You’ll have to talk to him about the price (he’s been wishy-washy with me, somewhere around 2k I’m thinking) and what extra parts it comes with. His name is Scott Applegate and you can reach him @ 262-909-6894 and the bike is located in Salem Wisconsin USA
