Sorry but what is the Hye resevoir? I am actually pretty new to motorcycles I have indeed learned a lot in the last few months but some of the stuff I am not sure about.... Yet

not out of line thats for sure it looks alot better than the other one, but like i said go after a new style one in case you have to rebuild it it will be easier to find parts for it thru the local dealerships.

I paid about 15.00 for mine off a late model zx7rr (the dual disk ninja one) and it included the MC and reservoir. I had to modify the little bracket but now it bolts to the handlebar clamp on the MC and stays up out of the way. Someday I plan to do a hydraulic clutch so I'll have matching hydraulic front controls :).

i'm talking 2000 and up the one you had on there was over 20 years old i'm just thinking of future rebuilds and how hard it can be to get parts that are that old.

the fittings should be the same but just to be on the safe side i would stay with kawi or suzuki

yes it should work fine now all you need is a lever to match. that should solve your space problem just fine i hope
