Figured I would try to fit the battery tray while I had the cam out there taking pics of the front brakes... I would say it JUST fits :woohoo: :laugh:

Will you get vibration through the frame to the battey?
I really like what you've done here. You've obviously put a lot of thought and work into the project. It looks like it's going to pay off. I think the monoshock really enhances the lines of the 650 especially with the tail fairing. I read of a similar rebuild in Classic and Motorcycle mechanics about four years ago and always wanted to try it myself.
I am thinking of 4-2 under seat exhaust pipes but can't visualize how to route them.

Thanks, its a work in progress, Im building as I get the parts.
I dont think vibration will be an issue, the battery box is solidly mounted (bolted) to the frame, if it was rubber mounted, and touching like it is, then I would be worried about vibration.
