I got the current set of Yosh 987 cc pistons from Pops himself when I lived in LA in the late 1970s. I bought a 998 cc kit from Pops for my '73 Z1-900 in 1983 because I planned to use this kit on the next this bike's next top-end refresh job which is, of course, now long overdue.

If I recall, MTC Engineering used to sell 998 cc piston kits for the Z1-900s. But I don't see such kits in its online catalog anymore. Maybe MTC still has a set. Call or email MTC to find out. I don't see any set smaller than 1015 cc at Wiseco's website.
