i am wondering if anyone with a gs swingarm on a 650 can help. i was wondering if a 114 link chain would be long enough with the gs swingarm.

I have a KZ650C with the GS1100 aluminum swingarm and I had to go to a 110 link chain. 114 links will be to long if you are using the stock sprockets.

i tried it but i don't think it will give you modified lengths. the stock chain for the kz650c is 102 but the gs swingarm adds a few inches.

Take it from someone who has been there and done that, 110 links.

Why mess around when baldy110 has already done what you want to do, and has given you the answer?

Yes you can easily shorten a chain, so if you have a 120 link chain just take off 10 links. But you can order a 110 link chain and save a few bucks.
