Ah HA!
What we need is made by Oilite ! And it's made out of... Oilite!
I'll go out to the shop tomorrow and take some precise measurements...

Get all of the information together (tube OD, lower bushing thickness, and length) and give RaceTech a call. They have bushings for lots of bikes that arnt on their applications lists. The emulators do work, I've installed a few sets over the years.

What you need are outer fork bushings that are 36 x 12 x 2 mm. Race Tech doesn't carry them and you will not find a Kawasaki OEM part. You can find bushings for the cop bikes, but they have 38mm forks. If you have a KZ or Z bike with 36mm forks you need to call Moto Pro suspension in Woodinville, WA. Part number is MBO36122. I just installed them on my KZ 1000 and they work perfectly. Pass it on!

I am in the same situation now. A little confused as to which is which.
At buykawasaki.com you can buy the inner bushings? Part number 44065-1016, am i right? Hope so, just ordered them!
But the outers came on the pipe-fork inner (was part 44013-1085) which is now unavailable?
So I need 36 x 12 x 2 mm bushings. Any idea where to get these in the UK?

Part number 44065-1016 is listed as Active at Kawasaki.com & the cross-reference there shows that it's used on some late model bikes, so yer probably good to go.

Aye I have ordered that part. What I mean is if I also need to replace the lower bushing do I need to source one as described by cometic?
