Galaxian and 'fighterKZ,
Do you have any pics of the swingarm stuff you're talking about? I'm in the middle of *ahem* several swing-arm mods and you're info (pics too? ) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-KR

I don't have pics but I can get them for you. Any particular info? Remember I'm also doing a swingarm swap on my 900 using a 91 Gsxr750 arm so if any info from that will help you let me know.

Hey, thanks Doug! Yeah, basically any problems or modifications that you made and (as you indicated with the '91 gixxer 750 arm) what year and model of part you used. I appreciate any pics and descriptions you can give.
THANKS again!

OK O
I have a gsxr 600 swingarm that I started to use before I bought the ZRX swingarm.

It would be easier to put the gsxr swingarm on. I turned it up side down, and ground some material away from the outer diameter of the sleeve housing the bearings. I did that on one side, so the swingarm would slide into the 2mm narrower KZ frame. Then sawed off the single (mono) shock mount. It slips right in no frame modifications.

I still have that swing arm. I can post a foto.

So, the ZRX swingarm is possible, but the gsxr is eaassssie. I even photo'd kind of a comparison shot.

This one is a 97 GSXR 600. You can buy them cheap. The ZRX swing arm if you have one is worth more cash.

They are approx the same width. You would need to mount some shock mounts the the GSXR swinger, but the ZRX if you want to do right, you gotta move the mounts anyway.

Very, very cool. The gixxer arm looks pretty good, too. I've got several arms to consider so I appreciate you posting and all the info you're giving.

Hi, I put a triumph st single sided swingarm on one of my chops and have had many requests to do a swingarm for the XS11 yamaha. One question. What is the shock spacing measurement inside to inside on the zrx11 swingarm. I admire your work BTW....

WAS a shaftdrive. I designed a bolt-on conversion and now looking for the perfect swingarm to use in the kit for others.....So I need to know this shock Inside distance, so far I can make an 04-06 R1 swingarm work, but will have to machine shock mounts and weld....the kit would be expensive then....thanks for any help...chop
