I just finished this mod and I want to thank you for the idea. My scooter buddy Kyle hooked me up with a shifter and I was done before I knew it. Your directions and photos were a great guide for making this a simple swap.Thanks.

Question. When doing the "crawl around on floor" step is the cigarette mandatory or optional? :laugh:

Dittos on the thanks. I did this mod, then built my own pair of rearsets, tried them out, and went back to these because the leg position is pretty darn good for the limited time and resources invested.
1978 KZ650 D1 ~ Carb jetting: 107.5 & 20 & 4th groove with pods and 4-1 Exhaust
