I went on a ride on new years day and I heard a couple of guys commenting on the mirrors on a Z1 900, saying they look ridiculous on the bike. So, I looked over and they are basically identical to mine. I always thought my mirrors looked great, but I'm probably not the coolest guy out there... So what do you think? If you don't like them, what do you suggest?

I think they were whining because the mirrors were rectangular. Z1 mirrors are round. Change is hard for many people;) If you like the later-styled mirrors, then that is what you should have.

Switching to round mirrors is good for at least ten horsepower.

They do look kindof funny on there. I was thinking of getting some of those too. not anymore. I cant keep mirrors on mine anyway, they turn into twirllys. Peices of ....

No offence, but I'm partial to round on the older bikes. Plus the extra chrome would really stand out on that bitchen bike!;)

I had some of those on my G1, but I took them off and got some round ones. Mainly because I wanted a more original look. Rect. probably gives a better rear view tho. It's your bike, do what you want. Who cares what someone else thinks.:woohoo:

Change your Mirrors to have your bike look like everyone thinks it should or Or be your own person and keep them as they are ?? That is the question :) :)

10 HP, that's all? I was told if I changed to the round mirrors I would gain about 20 HP. If I put a Corbin seat on the bike do you think I will make at least 100 HP ?

Put these on and lose 20HP! Question is if you like the mirrors and they work for you! It's a sweet ride but in the end you are the one who must like it. Don't be swayed by others they may just be jealous and need to pick on something.

I agree with IowaKZ. The round matches the style of the bike better but it is your bike and its a whole lot nicer than my bike so who am i to judge:)
