Here you say the battery voltage is lower at 4000 rpm, in your first post you state just the opposite, that it's higher...

Check this out, it helped me and is easy to follow. Make sure your battery is fully charged.

I followed the diagram and here is what I found. Yes I was checking the output wrong and yes I had a broken wire. I now have 60v outpur, not the 75 my manual says but I think it will be okay. Things seem to be better. Thank you for your replies and assistance.
