So, back to the OP, is there any consensus on what pins will work in say, the stator or regulator plugs on a Z1?
I see that Z1 E is offering Terminal - Metric - Round - Male - Small - Pkg 10, Part #12-0122 that LOOKS a lot like what we should be using, but there is no mention of suitability, application or dimensions. I sent a query yesterday asking if these would work in my 73 Z1 plugs, but so far no response.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Where do you get the terminals to use that on?

Terminals and connectors are available from vintageconnections.com, and also from cycleterminals.com

Maybe I need some education here. I measure the male pin terminals by their contact diameter and get 2.0 mm. Is this the correct way to measure? At Cycle Terminals I don't see any 2.0mm pin terminals suitable for the regulator or rectifier plugs. At Vintage Connections all I see are bullet, spade and ring terminals, no round pin terminals.
Could you be more specific? Again, this is for a 73 Z1 regulator plug.
And still no response from Z1 Enterprises.
Thanks

Would something like this get you what you need (2.3mm) buying a "plug kit" to get the pins may be the easiest way ??

Sounds like 2.3 would be too large and difficult to plug into the female receptacle, unless I'm measuring wrong. Can someone please clarify exactly how this dimension is arrived at? I thought that it would be the diameter of the pin, that is, the contact portion of the terminal. Just guessing.
I would have thought that by now others have been down this road.

UPDATE
I finally heard back from Z1 E. Thay tell me that their pins measure 2.3mm and "We have been selling those pins for years and have not had any customer issues with them.".
They should arrive in a few days and I'll be able to verify their fit in the plugs.
Thanks everyone for your insight. Wookie, looks like you were right on the money!

Lucky guess, however there is a limit to how many variations of such things are manufactured for it to be cost effective.

I've had very good results using items from Cycle Terminals. Very good selection. In USA for fast response on items and better quality than I've found on ebay.

Thanks, that's great to hear about firsthand positive experience with Cycle Terminals, however, they don't seem to have the terminal for this application. Their 2.3mm items are blade, not round.
