I installed a set of used Dyna 3.0 Ohm green coils instead of modifying the wiring harness. I will have to verify whether the dying issue is resolved with a couple of test rides. The Dyna 2.2 Ohm coils both measured 2.1 ohms and are slightly discolored with yellow rings around the plug towers. Probably heat related.

Positive ride report: Took a 15 mile ride this afternoon and the GPz550 did not die once.
