I use 3M self-adhesive velcro dual lock tape on the back side of my licence plate to get an damping/anti vibration effect.
I use that to hold the UK-style bracket and plate to the front bumper of my car. It's good stuff.
And I hope the whiny dude stays away this time.

In touch with the painter, when i got the bike the tank had an aero filler, i tracked down the painter and got him to paint a standard tank in the same design, the design is something i would never have had done but it has now grown on me, if i really wanted i could exploit a loop hole and have states side size plates because all my bikes started life in the USA
