I forgot to mention that the wires were switched around like you mentioned. And yes starter button. I have gotten spark out of this wiring before

The magnets were switched and the 4 prong connector is bad! Got it running off of spray for now. Thank you guys so much I can’t wait to ride my lawn mower. I can not thank you guys enough
