That designation is no longer used, but that doesn't mean the fuses are not available with a different number. Please carefully measure the length and diameter of the fuses and post them here. There is a cross reference available that lists pretty much all fuses showing length & diameter & amp rating. That should be helpful in identifying the new designation for the "ASB" fuses. Ed

All of the 3 fuses are 25x5mm. The existing main fuse's filament appears to be intact but it turned black and is blocking electricity
Update:
I found some fuses on partzilla.com that the website says will fit a 550. www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Kawasaki/...-%2781+C1/parts.html
Numbers 9 and 34. Number 34 says FUSE,10A,L=30M-M and I am unsure as to what that means.

That's why they need to be replaced regularly.

I also found a bunch of them at Pep Boys that matched the ones in my 1979 KZ750. The length doesn't have to match perfectly as long as it fits into the fuse holder and the metal clips lock onto the metal ends securely. Fuse diameter has to match so the clips will contact properly.
