After allot of testing and grief, the great electrical mystery is solved.
I replaced the solenoid and she started right up...no problems. I also snipped and replaced a few corroded looking connectors along the way too.

For those with a simular problem this is what I did to fix it.
Problem: Total electrical shutdown
Resolution: Made sure battery had full charge; replaced negative battery cable; replaced all 3 fuses; removed recifier and checked leads using a multi-meter; removed ignition switch and cleaned internal copper contacts; removed and installed new solenoid; snipped and replaced several connectors along the way.
