All right, well last night I picked up some deoxit and started to work on the bike. After taking quite a bit of the bike apart for the first time I realized the wiring harness is a mess. The wires are spliced together and wrapped up with electrical tape, things are burnt, and connectors are broken all over the place. I think I am going to need to overhaul the entire harness and possibly just remake the damn thing.

If you're in the US and need a carbon pile/resistive load, go to your nearest Harbor Freight and buy their battery load tester. I think it's around $20 on sale and it comes in handy.
