Hey mate, looks like a nice Z you have there.
MIne is a 1075cc wiseco and cranking pressure is up near 190psi depending on who's gauge i use, 98 BP is excellent, no knocking at all, no signs of detonation on either piston OR plugs etc. If its a stock engine 95 in Aus is fine, (its around 91 in the U.S. PON method) it will even run ok on E10 but your hoses, filter and tank internals might not like it, hoses can go hard and so can the filters become brittle (over time), E10 will also clean the inside of you tank! The orange on your plugs is quite common depending on what additives are in the fuel you are using, apparently manganese is one of the additives used to help with valve recession and it can turn plugs orange, we see it on the car plugs where i work but not every car.
I am in Sydney by the way and use BP98 octane ALL THE TIME unless on a long ride and cant get it, it still runs on the others but it LOVES BP98, Shell 98 etc.
Almost forgot, our heads are set up to use UNLEADED from the word GO! 98 fuels down here (& 95) have stuff added to help with valve recession, i am told the E10 and normal standard unleaded does NOT.
regards,
Kt

and thanks for the Oz info. I notice a local "Nationwide" servo selling 100 octane only to find that 10% of it is Ethanol !
