Acewell also has a Kawasaki speedo cable thingy. It doesn't work on our bikes right out of the box but if you've got an old speedo cable it's possible to change the nuts on the end with a little sandpaper and a bench grinder. So I didn't ahve to rig up a magnet like some do, I've got my stock speedo drive feeding the acewell directly, pretty cool.

no point useing a cable, when its so easy to go digital.
1 less cable up front too.
u can run the sensor off the back rim so the set up is nice and clean.

OOOOOOOooooooo!!!! I never thought of using the back rim!!!! I may have to see if that will work better for me!!!! :woohoo:

Its not a cable, its digital, its a dealie that screw into the speedo drive and theres a hall sensor in it. I think its cleaner than having a magnet on your back wheel and a sensor.

dont u still need a wire to run from the sensor to the speedo?

Yeah, dont you still need a wire when you have it on the back wheel? I don't mind clutter on the front of my bike, and I think its cleaner overall cause you dont have the magnet and sensor on back which I think looks bad.

yes u still need the wire for the rear. i just think that if i remove the cable/or wire from the front it looks cleaner. i ran the wire on the inside of the swingarm so u dont see it.
jmo. :)

Trailtech and Veypor make some nice ones - or you could just use a GPS and forget all the wiring entirely.
