The batery has to be either discharged or just toast. If you already charged it and it still does that, it's the battery.makenzie71 wrote: We're not going to run a cap. We're running a battery. Yeah. We put a new battery in it and now we're kicking out 14vdc at idle, and it stays pretty level through the range. We still got a flat spot way up top, though...need to find about a 145 main to get it right I think. But the battery really cleared up a lot.
