Would double-check operation of advancer to assure not sticking too long in idle rpm position.
Best to view under timing light watching it move back and forth at various rpm's while blipping throttle. Want to confirm the advancer isn't
too slow on the draw.
Regarding possible carb issue, would double-check the 0-rings on pilot adjustment screws. (See image below.)
