With a good fully charged battery, the bike should run just fine without a generator, rectifier or regulator, until the battery runs down.

Good Luck! :)

Yes, absent some flaw in the ignition system preventing a healthy properly timed spark.

Could remove plug and visually observe spark while cranking the engine over.

Good Luck! :)

Ok so I have the frame and motor ground the points and coils are hooked up and no spark. When I use a test light I have ground on the red/yellow that comes from the coils. This means that the ciurcutis complete right?

right i finaly got spark it was because the point for the plug wire i was testing on want making good contact. but its all worked out i have spark now. so after i fixed the problem with the spark i riged up a way to get fuel to the carbs but it didnt work so good it was leaking all over the place and in turn i found out my carbs leak like a bucket with a hole in it. so the plan is to get a seal kit for the carbs and rebuild them and to fix the fuel supply problem im gunna clean the tank and find out what i need to do to seal it. then replace the fuel lines and go from there.

im gunna try to get some pics up of the bike cause i know how much i love to see pics even if the bike is ugly as hell. lol
