Is your harness missing or hacked all to pieces or something?

Electrician is for house/plant/building/Vac/power wiring...
Electronic Technicians for electrical/electronic work...

"have him do up the wiring harness"... As others mentioned, not sure what this means....

Youn could always get a new harness for ~ $200 bucks or so... but I can't see why unless yours is burnt up...

my harness is pretty much snipped up at certain places and just bare twisted wire at other ends. my dad was doing the electrical work for me since i havent a clue how to do it, but hes one of those types that starts a new project and forgets about the old one. so now im stuck with this kz that i have all the mechanical aspects ironed out and now all it needs is the electrical bits finished. the main thing i see is wiring in the gpz dash to the kz wire harness to accommodate the gpz cams. that and he started snipping plugs off and then twisting these plugless wires together. i was trying to save a buck and ending up screwing myself. so pretty much my wire harness is gutted with wiring hanging all over the place.

i have on more than one occasion suggested to a customer it might be cheaper and less hassle for all concerened that maybe a new harness might be the best way to go. in most instances the customer refuses and then is in complete shock when you hand him a bill for 5-6 hours work for repair work done to original harness and installing it back on the bike.if there is extensive major damage done to the harness this the better option, damage caused by fire, rodent's, or human error , if we just cut this it will come apart alot easier. by the way i have never raped anybody it's not my thing i like them willing and wiggling.

I just went to the guy who's selling the wiring harness's e-bay site and it looks like he's got some other electrical stuff from the same bike if you're interested.

i was just thinking about this. if you take 83 gpz cams and heads and an oil cooler and stuff them onto an 82 750 block, arent you essentially making that rad kz750L3? so wouldnt i just want an L3 wiring harness for the coil powered tacho?
