Can someone help out us guys who are less creative and post some pics of the brackets you fabricated in order to get the tail light mounted directly under the rear fairing?
Thanks!

I have had several compliments on how it looks. Very clean, stronger than a bracket and it still leaves room for the license plate to bolt up under the seat. You may have to bend the license plate slightly at the mounting point so it will not contact the rear wheel if you hit a pothole or bump a little hard.
It is one of the easiest mods and has one of the most dramatic visual impacts that a guy can do to improve the look of the bike IMO.

All I did was remove the original taillight and fender, then I bought a tube of JB weld and an aftermarket modern taillight from a bike shop, scratched up the top of the taillight housing with some heavy grit sandpaper and the underside of the ductail and applied the JB weld. Let it sit overnight and install on your bike.

Here's what I did on my stock tail light. I cut a flat piece of steel then mounted the light to it with some spacers.

Lol Mark. At least you could have ground it down and thrown some paint on it!

I'll take a picture of the bracket needed when I get back in town in a couple of week and post it.
