Good thread, I was just about to ask the question of lettering replacement. Would these have been screen printed on from the factory or the sponge wipe method?
I always had visions of tiny little jap women in the factory painting them on by hand.

I've been using the acrylic model paint from walmart, works fine cheap and made in the good ole USA. Think it's like a dollar a bottle, probably turn to dust before I use it up
