I am seeing jitter on my kz650 timing also. BUT I only get the jittering on 2and3 ??? 1and4 are steady as a rock.
The 23 jitter goes away at full advance.
Changed just about everything electrical in the timing system.
How can worn springs affect the timing only on the 2and3 points ??
The advance mechanism changes the timing for both 23 and 14 simultaneously RIGHT ??
Maybe something else is going on here ?
Crank play ? Worn point cam ? I don't know.

The shaft or cam is worn and wobling/vibrating when opening that point set?
