Need help wiring 1981 650 csr bobber

yeah let me know and see how it goes for you. im trying to use the stock wiring harness for it but its giving me a massive headache. and being color blind is not helping either. im so ready to ride again its not even funny. send plunty of pictures of your work if you can. thanks

in the picture where im holding that little black piece, what is that? is that a grounded wire with some black stuff around it???

I cannot tell from the picture. Trace the wires and reference a wiring diagram. That's be your best bet.
