on a side note, I was thinking of getting a dyna S. From what I've read this bypasses the IC igniter altogether and runs direct to the ignition coils. Is that correct?

Sounds like the same thing i am experiancing. i was thinking of replacing the coils. how do you go about testing the ic igniter?
