just what i like to see nice easy fixes why were they closed up did the screws back off or just wrong adjustment. it usally is something goofy so don't panic.

If the small oem felt pad is still in place, a drop of oil allowed to soak into the pad is supposed to keep the cam slightly lubed as it rubs against the fiber heel of the points.

In regards to the output wires from the points (green and black) should I get continuity from the black wire that runs along the case and to the coils? I get short to ground with the black one, and open with the green. Probably need to mention that the wires are OFF of the points. I couldn't get cyls 1/4 to produce an open with the points open, always grounded.... can someone check theirs? I am sure it is time to check points anyway!! Thanks!
