Sorry to hear that. It sucks when the thing just won't start. People do seem to have pretty good luck with the Dyna.

hi Typhoon,
Just after I got my 78 KZ650 C2, I got a boyer system . It lasted for about 6 months I think. Just like you ,mine had power to the Moduale but no spark. I returned it to Partsmore(I think) and they replaced it with a new one, which only Lasted for4 months:angry: . I returned that one for a refund, peeled the sticker off my seat pan voweng never to use that crap again. I now run a Dyna-S and Dyna 3 ohm coils, haven't had a problem for about 8 monthes.
I think you will see that dynas are the crowd favorite here @ KZRider!
Good luck
Mac

Hey, I forgot about this thread and that blody ignition!
I've had a Dyna ignition and Dyna coils on teh bike for what,4 months now, and it's been fantastic. Never missed a beat, cold starts are great etc. I commute about 400km a week on the bike, so reliability is big for me.
I never did hear back from Boyer or my part supplier with regards the big melted hole in teh side of the Boyer box.....
Regards, Andrew.

Where is Boyer Brandson made?
If you say England, I wouldn't be surprised.
Glad the Dyna's working for you

England. LOL!
It's a shame, because the digital ignition I got has so much to offer(idle stabilisation being one of them). Just a shame about the quality control.
Regards, Andrew.
