I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

not really. I race everything from 125gp to 4 cylinder 4 strokes. the kz750 is nice cause its comfy. the riding position is relaxed and makes it easy to race. the FZ750 is pretty fast. much faster then the kz, int 700 or suz gs. the gpz 600 is fast and a good handler (16 " wheels included). the gt500 is fun. the 125 gp's are hard. and the 250 gp are at times to fast.mopguy wrote: Nice bikes you have, do you have one you prefer over all others?

I raced a gpz750/810 to second place in the 2015 italian vintage national open class championship and last year i've run a gpz550 with brought home a single win office, but this year im back to the CB500/4 i started racing with 11 years ago.
Keep posting on your season, but if you want to have more in depth discussions on road racing, there are other forum that are more focused on that. Most folks here are big into drag racing. have no problem with that, just the way it is.
