To Anyone Angry about SPEED Channel Being Replaced

So if you haven't heard, speed channel is now a FOX channel about balls

If you want to catch F1, MOTO GP or any other Motorsport Redbull is involved with LIVE it can be found here on redbulls site. Its a golden find if your in the states and don't agree with the price or see uselessness in having 500 channels with 495 channels you don't watch.

Thought I would share.

Yea, I have Charter Cable, they replaced or changed it or whatever.
Now a LOT of shows I used to watch are gone, I Liked Speed Channel programming!

Speed used to be the first channel I checked when turning the TV on - but it deteriorated badly over the past couple of years. They used to have F1 and some NASCAR races, but those disappeared. Other than a few minor race series, their car racing was very poor over the past year.

NBC and NBCSN are carrying the F1 races now - and surprisingly doing a decent job.

I've been watching discovery's velocity channel. They show most f1 races and moto gp. When they're not showing bears roaming the wilderness or poker it's actually not a bad channel.

yeah it made me mad when speed channel got replaced. I miss watching pass time and pinks.

I guess its just a matter of opinion. :whistle:
personally, I liked Pinks and Pass Time etc. Not much into F1 myself.
I actually like the "Velocity" channel....Like the Philly show about Bikes ( Think thats on Velocity??), Whats in the Barn, ( show about Wheels thru Time in Maggie Valley N.C, ) Etc, Console myself watching those.

Now that you mention it....I have time warner in Ohio and its been taken off....didn't notice. Maybe that speaks volumes to why it got taken off...as I'm a gear head and watched it once and a while...pass time and pinks.

Speed died the day they cancelled Two Wheel Tuesday, but they were on the return with more and more live Supercross broadcasts over the past couple years. MotoGP coverage seems ok so far, but it's pretty hard to mess up a re-broadcast.

My cable company dropped speed as well. I can see moto gp on fox sports.I ended up getting 3 months of free movie channels after bi#$ing about it.

I pretty much stopped watching TV and cable...period. As has been mentioned, 400 channels and nothing on worth interest...and not sure about the rest of you, but one channel with variable coverage of decent motorcycle racing isn't worth US$1200/year to me...that is almost a set of Doremi Z1 reproduction pipes :)

Pinks started to suck when they dropped the lose your ride part. Pass time was good to tho

Other than that stuff like f1 cant have that big a fan base
