I have to say I really enjoy this post and follow it regularly, many thanks Dave.
As for the wheelie situation, is there anything you can do about changing the geometry at the rear to reduce front wheel lift? I know virtually nothing about this but I remember someone (I think it was SBK Racer?) a few years back talking about the degree the swingarm sits to the ground being very important as well as the mounting point of the top of the rear shock to alter the direction of force when the chain loads up......don't know if there's any meat in this 0.02

Worked with the software for the Dyna 2000 and got it working
so went to the track yesterday for some test pass's and got the auto shift setup working
it's not adjusted 100% but it will shift on it's own so now to find the setting it like's.

Needing to do something about the wheelie issues and talking with a few buddy's
putting shock's back on would be the best place to start so.

Pulled the shock's off the ZRX made some temp. adapter plate's and
used them for mock up.

The GPz arm was 2 1/2" longer than the 650 arm and I added 5 1/2" to it for a total of 8" over stock.

Reworked the shock setup a little.
Swapped the shock's side to side that fixed some clearance issue's at the top
then made some diff. lower plate's and moved the bolt hole's a little and now have plenty
of clearance at both end's. Still need to make a new brake stay arm so just stuck that plate
in to mock it up.

Had to whip up a new chain guard since there ain't a lot of room now.

Messed with the Dyna some after work today playing with diff rpm setting's
for the shift and ign. kill With the two adjustable output's I'm using one to trigger the air shift
the other trigger's a relay that cut's power to the coil's as a way to kill the ign. on the shift.

I turned the shift down to 3500 to make it easier to test ride
and played around moving the kill rpm's up/dn a few hundred rpm's and also added more
rpm's between on and off rpm's and learn a little more about how to make this shit work
the way I want.

Then I got low on air in my refill tank and couldn't refill the bike tank so with not enough air for it to shift right
I put it up and had a beer. B) B)

Track day tomorrow going to go do some test pass's and see how the shock setup work's.
I've not rode it over 15 mph with the shock's so this might be fun.
