I AM LOOKING FOR A SOURCE TO BUY SOME PAN HEAD SCREWS AND ACORN NUTS FOR THE 1977 KZ1000 A 1.
Does anyone know the threads per inch and pitch used on the kz1000?

All threads on the Kawasaki's are Metric so measurements are in MM or fractions of.
Most common used on the chassis are -
M5 x 0.8
M6 x 1
M8 x 1.25
M10 x 1.25
M10 x 1
M12 x 1.25.
If you state the actual area on the bike the fasteners are for then a more specific answer can be given.

You can buy genuine Kawasaki screws and nuts from Partzilla, or your local Kawasaki dealer.

Ace Hardware stores carry a wide variety of hardware and likely have some that will fit just fine.
