I am looking for a good used tachometer drive gear.  Mine has some wear grooves where the seal rides.  Looking for a replacement with a smooth, clean shaft without wear grooves.  Thanks!

I think the part# is 13223-011 and was used on many different models and years.  This should allow for a larger pool of used parts.

Partzilla indicates it was used on many bikes see this link

Your tach drive is looking good. The shaft only need a light polish and a new seal and nothing more.
A sample of a clutch push rod with real wear grooves i have fabricate new to the GPZ1100 engine i sold to  kzstreetfighter71

I agree with Scirocco on this item.  It doesn't look bad at all really.  If you have a micrometer you could measure the wear difference, but just from the picture before I went looking for a new one I would put it in a drill/mill chuck and spin it while using some very fine sand paper, or crocus cloth to polish the worn looking area.  Hit it with some metal polish at the end and see how it turns out.  Install a new seal after that and you may be GTG.

The worn area is .001" smaller in diameter, and I can feel the edge with my fingernail.  Looks worse than it really is.  New o-ring and seal is already on the way.  I will try the polishing and see.  I just don't want an oil dribble.

A new oil seal has more flexibility and tention and is able to handle a "worn out" .001 smaller in diameter shaft.

My tach drive gear looks worse than yours and it's oil tight.  I was looking for a better one for a good price but until this thread, I forgot about it.

I gave it some sand paper love.  Still a groove present, but I'll run it as is and monitor the new seals.  Thanks, guys...
