I'm doing a "sympathetic restoration" on my '79 LTD and would like to replace the awful high rise-pull back bars that a PO installed. They makes it hard to handle at low speed, hard to source correct cables for and generally look bad. I have a NOS switch/control that has the locating pin that require holes in the bars. I would rather not modify the control and I'm going to make an effort to source replacement bars to correct the wrong the PO committed to this bike. I've searched all the usual places for these without finding them so, I'm hoping somebody here knows of a place that has reproductions or even a pair of used take offs. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Yes I have but they don't list any OE style replacements. I'd like to use a version that is an ezact copy of the OE bars or a set of used bars. There must be a pair out in the wild that came off an LTD that are for sell/trade.

These claim to be exact dimensions as OEM. I have made several purchases from Jim and trust that what I’m buying is as represented. I have been very happy with all items I have received

This set says they are LTD.  The LTD bars are similar to standard bars but they have a couple of inches more pull back.

Thank you both for your comments, links and suggestions. When I looked at those before, I was unsure as to whether those bars were the same as OE because I don't have any to compare them to. They looked as if they were too wide and too long in the grip/control location. I think I'll wait for a bit (until my LTD's back on the road) and think about what I really want before I order any. It would really help if I could sit on an LTD w/original bars to help me decide if I really want to make the dramatic change. I do know I'm not happy with the "Easy Rider" bars on my survivor now.
Once again, thank you both for your very helpful assistance.

My 78 B2 must have been wrecked previously to my owning it. It had “A” front end parts, But superbike bars. I bought all LTD stuff including OEM bars. Personally I don’t hate them but I don’t like them either. The rise is nice, gives me a nice upright position. The pull back is slightly to much. I feel like I’m tucking my elbows in against my sides. Just my opinion. I really like the ‘76 Kz900 bars. I might swap a set of them into my B2
