Finally finished my 1978 Z1-R restoration, which is the #2 bike on my wish list. #1 is a Z1-900, earlier the better of course. My dad bought a brand new 1974, took me for rides when I was a little guy, and really got me started on the motorcycle bug. He's still around, and he has reminded me that my Z1-R is cool, but not nearly as cool as his 1974 was :) LOL - I am in Orlando, willing to ship of course. Looking for a project if possible, but let me know if anyone has anything to get me started!

Thanks in advance!

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHave you seen these two?  Who know what they'll go for, but they both look like they'd make a good project.

The first has Lester mags and dual disk setup.  Both hard to find parts.  The second has 29mm smoothbores, also valuable.

Right - I agree, a 1973 is super desirable of course, but don't think I'd want to pay that price for that bike.

I have two Z1B's.  I would be willing to part with one.  PM me with your email and I can send you details and photos if you're interested.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Sheesh.  That's a lot for a non-running bike.

Is it just my eyes or is the brake torque lever bent on the black bike?
