In need of:
1) defective or broken rectifier so we can repair a good rectifier that's had it's pin connector modified with an incorrect Molex connector. All we really need is the connector, pins and wiring back to as close to the rectifier body as possible. A whole connector with associated wiring that has been cut or de-soldered from a rectifier assy. would be fine.

2) The brown male connector & pins for the main wiring harness, and the brown female connector and pins for the center harness 26002-035. Either or both would be of help. See below for pics.

Thanks for looking

Question are you doing a full blown restoration ? if not I would convert to new style rectifier regulator plug and play much better set up than the old style. I have done several on 73,74 & 75 Z1s.

We're doing a full resto to stock. We want it to be a potential buyer's choice to have an electrically stock Z1 or one that's been modified, even if a mod is plug-n-play. Originality is important to many buyers of Z1's.

I guess you don't know the name of that connector or what type it is or the mfg? I tried CycleTerminal but didn't see anything like that.

I'd get this.

As for the regulator I may still have one I bought off a Z1 in 98. I'll look.
The rectifier was shot so I used one from a XS 650. It was larger and not what you want.
Finding good useable 40+ year old parts may be a problem.
I understand why you want original parts but the old ones had issues where the aftermarket ones are of better design.

Thanks Steve. That gets us part way there. We'd still need the brown male connector from an original main wiring harness to mate up with the brown female connector on the center wiring harness.

We'll be moving to modern reg/recs on our stable of Z1's as time & money permit. We're flipping this bike, so originality is preferred.

Looks like blue has what you need or most of it. The brown and white connectors were fried on my old loom. I'll have to dig for the regulator but I'm not sure the connector is still with it. In 13 Z1E had all the connectors. Maybe send Jeff a message asking him where you can find them. Let us know if he does, I'd like to have a couple myself.
