VM26 Carbs - Rebuilt/Restored

asphalt900 rebuilt these.  He traded me these carbs in exchange for some zinc plating work I did for him.

The code is Z12 00, which means late 900, or maybe early 1000 VM26's?  Anyway, they will fit and work with both.

He had the steel parts zinc plated, the bodies blasted, and generally fully rebuilt.

I have air correction jets that can be installed for pod users, for an extra fee.

Selling for $550 + shipping. With $250 of that going to KZR.

Yes!! even though Ed has taken upon himself, to peddle. and it was a trade for services I' ll still FULLY back the purchase. Believe me when i say, i have the abilities or gumption to do what is not within the scope of anything mentioned. These are a true KZ900 carb set proper. While an exact same first gen KZ1000 holding plate, the early KZ1000 castings had a whole lot of stuff going on not relative to this bank. And BTW, it was WELL,WELL Worth the trade, ED does Great shite in his Laboratory.

Not to undermine My FRIEND ED, but have at least two more sets of the same sitting in tubs wrapped-up against spinder/critter invasion. AS Mentioned, i/we set them back to original factory settings. If You're seeking something else and have "pods" then don't be surprised of a glitch of an off throttle irritation.

Would your carbs work on a 1075cc motor with stock camshaft at sea level? I am using a factory airbox too

These carbs are setup with 115 main jets and 17.5 pilots, which I believe is the stock configuration for these carbs.

Will they work on a 1075cc big bore kit engine?  The answer to that is more complicated.  Short answer, yes.  They will run.  Will the jetting be optimized?  Maybe not.  I'm not a jetting guru, and I won't promise anything regarding jetting for non-stock applications.  I can say that I have a pile of 15 pilot jets that can be included.  And between myself and Clay, we can provide most any size main jets desired.  What we can't do, is guarantee a pre-jetted set of carbs that will be perfect for your particular bike.

I can chime in on this conversation to say Ed knows his carbs. I've sent 2 sets so far to him for complete restoration. Beautiful work .

And I can vouch for Clay's / asphalt900 work, Clay and I did a trade not long ago and I was very pleased with his work.

Moose Man!! Get all your land crap straightened-out? Gotta quit just looking at those and install them, haha. Ed needs new shoes, someone buy them! He is keen on a New set of steel-toe Buster Brown's. He's wanting to go to Karaoke Disco night but doesn't want to get his toes smashed by a fat chic when he's out dancing. We're getting older and therefore slim pickings, You guys understand!

Clay, dude, isn't it a little early in the morning to be tipping the bottle?  I reserve drinking for breakfast for myself!
