Picked this up because I read it would fit "all KZs and GPzs" and I am not very smart. 

​​​​​It's marked .8kw and should work on 900/1000 models, but please visually verify. I haven't tested it, but the brushes are very thick and the commutator is clean. Missing one screw in the body.

$50 shipped to the US. I can do international shipping, just don't know how much it is.

Edit: hooked it up to a battery and it spins fine.
 

I’d say not familiar with the starter. Your smart enough to do a six speed conversion.

If it is marked 438 on the end its off a CB900 Honda.
It will fit on 900/1000/1100 but it sits high so the stock chrome cover will not "hide" it.
It is usually used on drag bikes running 24V "push button" on 1400cc-1500cc.
Shown is a reworked version of it called the "super starter", but these images are from way back.
I think the guy that rewound them is retired or deceased.

 



Stock I think they will spin a hot 1428 street bike without fuss on 12V, just not a high compression drag monster.
It was a very common modification if you had a pro street bike.

My starter fried today. This should fit my kz1100, I believe. PM me if you still have it!
