Guffaw guffaw!!!
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Probably worth about half the asking price as a "frame up" rebuild. Looking at it I wouldn't trust any of the work that has been done already (what is going on with the rear shocks - does he tow a trailer)

In today's world, $2k ain't much.  The style isn't for me, but that's meaningless to people that like it.

Those pods are not "K&N".  They are K&N clones, and bad ones at that.  Again, though, for $2k, you can't have everything.  For someone that wants a bike like this, they could do worse.

Wrong sir... they are actual K&N... not emgo or something else. They have the k&n logos on the filters.

I don't like it either... but its not worth only $1000... the bike runs and rides great and I have videos to show it... I've inspected every ground and wire and confirmed voltage and continuity at every connection... I've made sure the carbs are perfect... I have videos of the bike cold starting beautifully, I've even been riding it every day since I fixed it... I bought this bike for $1200 and put a lot of time into it, cleaning the carbs, gas tank, checking everything.

Again.. didn't do the wrap,  exhaust, fiberglass tail,, or any of these mods... i just got the bike running after it sat for 2 years...my preference towards KZ bikes is to keep them stock. But I absolutely am not spending 1500 on this bike to get it back to stock.

Time for me to do a bit of "back pedalling" I think   I read your post as you sharing a craigslist link, didn't realise it was YOUR BIKE ! if I had I wouldn't have been so "brutal" with the comments as I have no intention of offending anybody. Please accept my apologies.
